2018 Audi Q 1 is an all-new mini-crossover built by the German automaker, which is the first and smallest in-Q line-up of Audi. Although it remains unclear whether Audi will launch the model Q1 2018 to US market initially, this model will eventually happen in the United States. Audi has recently added the Q3 model, which is about 10 inches shorter than the Q5 and the new Q1 will be the smallest of them, and cheapest.

This SUV category is currently expanding and all the major manufacturers are in the race for time. Adding Q1 to its SUV line-up with recently introduced Q3 ensures SUV market is completely covered by the German giant.
2018 Audi Q1 will be based on scalable MQB platform VW Group, which will help save weight and provide great fuel economy. However Audi will have to compromise with the features to maintain the low weight of the baby SUV. Leaving aside some equipment, Q1 will be able to differentiate themselves from the Q3 leaving enough space for guests to choose between these two SUVs. Its size will be below the Q3, while the Q3 will feature an increase for the next generation in order to provide more space and greater differentiation of smaller and larger Q5.
Exterior Audi Q1 2018 will mark the beginning of the new design era for all Q-models. Exterior and interior design is released by Marc Lichte, head of Audi design. New appearance of the model will be based more regular crossover SUV. Its interior is designed in a minimalist style, with cockpit facing the driver. No surprises under the hood of the Audi Q1 2018. As we are accustomed, with the model of Audi, Q1 will also come with many options. Turbocharged Base 1.4 liter 4-cylinder will come in both diesel and petrol variants. Its power will be transferred to the other (standard) or all-wheel drive (optional) by manually via 6-speed or automatic gearbox with double clutch 7.
SQ1 performance-oriented version will also be available with 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder under the hood, with a power of 230 horses.
Audi will also offer a plug-in hybrid variant, but it is unclear whether it will be available instantly or later in its production. 2016 Audi Q1 Plug-in Hybrid will be based on a four-cylinder engine of 1.2 liters, coupled to motor (s) power.

Although the prices of model specifications are not yet revealed, we can expect to start around $ 25,000, due to price A3 sedan and Q3 SUV.
